After learning about tantric Buddhist practicecs and mandalas, I decided to create a series of my own manadala designs representing eight of my friends. Each mandala is meant to be hung in either direction.

The mandala to the left is friend nicknamed "X Factor". The red cross in the middle can either signify the X in her name or a medical cross since she has in interest in the medical profession. I used varous values of her favorite color, black, and the number three that represents her. The flower in the bottom circle is a lotus blossum and inside is her middle name, Kamal, forwards and backwards. Kamal in Indian means lotus blossum. The M symbol in the top circle is her astrilogical sign of Virgo. I used red to add a bright, burst of color. In the right circle is a chain that represents her link in Theta Nu Xi.
